We are pleased to inform you that BS7 Gym will be reopening from 1:00pm on Monday 17th August.
We have been working tirelessly to ensure that the Club is safe for our returning members and we want to provide you with the best possible BS7 training experience. We have made important changes to the Club with your safety our main priority. These changes include:
• Brand new extraction fans
• Newly designed, socially distanced training areas
• Increased ceiling heights and air flow capacity
• Heightened cleaning regime
• Sanitation stations throughout
• Outside PT & Spin Classes
In addition, we have taken the opportunity to refurbish and redecorate the whole premises and we hope you will enjoy the new bespoke artwork.
As part of our COVID-19 measures, we have changed the opening hours, which until further notice will be as follows:
7:00am – 9:00pm: Monday to Friday
8:30am – 5:00pm: Saturday & Sunday
We will be reviewing our opening hours regularly following government guidelines.
We are pleased to inform you that there will be no charge for the month of August; the first Direct Debit payment, will commence 1 September. If you do have any queries on your Membership with us, please get in touch with us on 0117 910 8016 or email gym@bs7gym.co.uk.
You now need to book a gym slot via our website: please click on ‘Members Area’ to get yourself booked in for a slot or click here. You can use your existing username and password to access the members’ area? If you do not yet have a member account, you can simply set one up in this area of the website. The booking system helps us ensure adequate social distancing limiting gym usage to 36 people at any one time. Because of this, all members must book their gym slot to attend the club or they will be turned away on arrival.
We are committed to keeping the gym as safe and clean as possible during your training experience. We will be cleaning the gym after every hour gym booking slot, with a 15-minute cleaning period between each booking. Before entering the gym, all members will need to have their temperature scanned, a procedure that has been put in place to ensure those of you on site remain safe and well.
We do of course have an expectation of our Club members when on site in the gym and there will be clear instruction as to what is expected of you when at the gym. If you are not feeling well and you have a slot booked in, please stay home and rest; your safety and wellbeing is our number one priority. You will be asked to sanitise your hands upon entering the Club and we kindly ask that all members ensure proper social distancing following our clearly marked room capacity signs. We also request that you clean down all equipment before and after using it with the cleaning products that will be provided by BS7 Gym.
To further enhance your safety at the Club, we have opened up a number of our training zones and installed a brand-new air extraction system. Our team members have also been trained on our new ways of working for safe social distancing and cleaning practices. Along with this, we have amended our cleaning contractors’ working hours to further facilitate a thoroughly sanitised training space.
If you are driving to the Club, when you arrive at the Ground, you will be clearly directed to a specific parking area.
Until further notice our changing rooms, sauna, lockers, high performance area and squash court are out of action. Members are required to turn up ready to train and follow our one-way system while using the club corridors.
At this time, we will not be holding any indoor classes. We do however plan to begin spin, HIIT and tougher than tough classes outside in our marquee from the 24th August. We will communicate further when you are able to book one of these classes.
We will be reviewing our Covid-19 reopening strategy weekly. We ask you to keep an eye on any emails from us as well as updates on our website and social media channels.
