Suitable for all ages and abilities, swiss ball training offers a low impact total body workout. The instability of the ball can be used to challenge the body to improve balance and coordinate muscle actions, or to assist with certain body movements and support you to relieve unwanted stress and strain. Core training, stability and flexibility are just a few benefits of swiss ball training along with improved muscle tone, endurance and improved posture.

A core strengthening class designed to improve your posture, whilst working on controlled stability to strengthen your abdominal section helping you feel more at one in your day to day activities. A warm engaging class filled with likeminded people looking to feel more comfortable with their range of movement.

A mixed intensity stationary cycling programme that is great for burning calories and promoting cardiovascular fitness. It is led by an instructor accompanied by upbeat music and a planned routine to help you on your way. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere presides over a work focused and rewarding session. 19:00-20:00 - Yoga

Yoga is excellent for developing strength, flexibility and improving general health & well-being. As well as improving your fitness, it will enhance your concentration, reduce stress and bring a greater sense of balance to the body and mind. Wednesdays and Saturdays classes offer a dynamic class suitable for people of all abilities, from beginners to advanced. It encompasses a broad range of traditional yoga styles including: Iyengar, Ashtanga, Sivananda and Viniyoga. Come and practice in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

19:00-20:00 - Body Conditioning

Toning and energising for the whole body! We crank the music loud and the instructor louder. Using light to moderate weights you will work all the key muscles in your body, while pushing up your heart rate for added cardio.

20:00-20:45 - Boxercise

One of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. It enhances sports specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing. Boxercise classes are always fun, energetic and addictive.

Wanting maximum bang for your buck? Then this class hits all the right spots. High Intensity Interval Training is arguably the most time-effective training method out there. Balancing high intensity bursts of exercise between lower intensity rest periods, you will work both the muscular endurance and cardiovascular systems, kick starting your metabolism’s after burners, forcing fat to burn off late into the night. You and your like minded peers will push yourselves harder than you thought possible in a fun and team-based environment.

A targeted and intense abdominal session to ensure strong and toned stomach muscles.

A fantastic whole body workout using the smooth flowing & gradually changing resistance generated from a resistance band to activate and stimulate all the bodies muscles. This is an extremely low impact approach to resistance training and is gentle and kind to your joints. You’ll find yourself feeling stronger and energised without being tired and wiped out.

18:00-18:45 - Legs, Bums & Tums

This is a great, fun way to focus a little more on these specific areas. A toned tummy, firm buttocks and shapely legs not only look great, but this training will help improve all your other activities from running to rugby. Think Jane Fonda on a caffeine boost in the 21st Century.

19:00-20:00 - Pilates

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on balance, posture, strength and flexibility. It is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Mindful Movement and Meditation combines slow and gentle mindful movements with breathing and secular meditation techniques. A regular mindfulness practice has been shown to reduce stress, and increase overall well-being. With emphasis on being curious in the moment and be present in the here and now, these sessions will instil a greater awareness of the mind and body connection. Please bring comfortable clothes to move in as well as a blanket or a warm layer for the second part of the session.

I joined BS7 Gym in 2018 when I was 17 years old which is where my passion for training was born. This passion gave me confidence, direction, lifelong friendships, and took me around the world.
In the pursuit of a career in fitness, I spent the last 3 years in London completing a degree in Strength and Conditioning Science, qualifying me to train athletes in professional sports. I’ve had the privilege of working at professional clubs such as Chelsea F.C and London-Scottish F.C, as well as a host of amateur sports teams.
My new role at BS7 Gym means I get the opportunity to apply the expertise I learnt from sports science experts to a community that I have grown up with and genuinely care about. My aim is primarily to help people reach their goals in the most efficient manner possible utilizing evidence-based training techniques. But also, to help people build a love for training and a positive relationship with the gym that may not have been there before.  
I love training for sports and specific goals and have completed challenges like ultramarathons and Ironman triathlons. Come and find me for a chat if you want a hand in achieving your own fitness goals!

My name is Suzy and I am the Fitness Manager at BS7 Gym.

My fitness journey began when I needed a new challenge and direction to grow as a person. Working in the fitness industry inspired me to further my education which directed me to become a certified Group Fitness Instructor and I began to instruct and teach the current fitness craze. Along with my 8 years experience in fitness, being educated by one of the best coaches, being a bodybuilding competitor, having a 11 years experience in exercise to music as a dancer and Instructor, having a high understanding in training programme, I use my knowledge and passion for fitness by helping others achieve their fitness goals, improving their health and attaining a total sense of well being through my positive energy, encouragement and motivation.

With over ten years of training under my belt, I have gained extracurricular knowledge in fitness and client psychology from mentors around the world. Today, all of that is backed by a Level 2 & 3 PT qualification, with many more feathers in my cap yet to come.
After a freak medical incident nearly took my life, I am more driven than ever to deliver quality coaching to those who need it. It was my strong heart from a gym lifestyle that saved my life so I see training you as potentially saving your life in the future!

My professional background is primarily in Administration and Hospitality, where I enjoyed interacting with different people every day.

I am also passionate about gym training, especially strength and bodybuilding. I love sharing my experience and enthusiasm with others, whether it’s through workout tips or motivation.

Coming from a background of performance and dancing, I have always loved to move my body. Depending on my mood, that can change from lifting heavy weights to jumping on boxes to sprinting to disco music. I love to mix up my training styles, not only to keep it fun and interesting but also to challenge my body and see what it’s capable of. I believe this encourages a whole-body approach to fitness and helps make it a part of your lifestyle which you enjoy, not something begrudgingly done at the end of the work day.

My own fitness journey has shown me there’s no one approach to getting fit; our attitudes and bodies change, and we should embrace that. Building strength and stamina is so important as we age, as well as simply feeling good and empowered in our bodies day-to-day. So whether your goal is to get stronger, improve mobility or simply feel better in your body, I want to help you push past your limits and find the joy in movement.
